The book has given be a much better understanding of the AVR microcontroller as well as added some very useful tools to my bench to solve more complex problems and to write better libraries.

I recommend this book to anyone with a medium to advanced level of understanding of AVR programming using the Arduino environment/5(80). While this book is well written and covers the subject matter well, it is outdated, over priced and utilizes the CodeVision AVR IDE/Compiler which is a costly and a not so popular development tool for Atmel AVR Microcontrollers.
